Installing Voidlinux on my new laptop, a @dell XPS 13 developer edition.

I’m always setting up my system manually. It gives me a lot of freedom and I think it’s good to keep the knowledge about systems and system tools fresh. Manually setting up an encrypted hard drive, LVM inside the crypt container, then adding logical volumes. After formatting each if the volumes, mounting the root volume, binding all the system volumes to new folders created inside the future root system and then install the base system and some handy tools.

There was a time where I was able to do this without any help from the wiki for #archlinux or #voidlinux.
