My project is closing in on the first beta. I’m pretty happy already, but there are still some important features to implement. These are mainly user support and rate limiting. The database is already supporting those values, but they are neither used nor is it possible to create them inside the app.
Before I go there though, I’ll do some benchmarking and write some unit tests. I want a solid foundation to build those features on, so that I don’t look for bugs in the user management when it’s actually somewhere else.
As soon as I reach the beta, I’ll ask you what you’d expect from a self hosted URL shortener. But let’s sit tight just a bit more for now.
