Some sun after the rain.
Slowly getting into everyday life after moving and other life changing events. A lot changed. I became somewhat of an early bird, I’m exercising regularly and generally live a rather healthy life. Good times! Or just midlife crisis? Who cares, as long as it’s good for me, right?
I also took over a package I wrote almost four years ago in 2017. Back then, the company needed a way to do A/B testing in the Vue based frontend. Over the time I generalized the code and we open sourced it. Now after all that time they asked me to take over maintenance and I accepted. It was pretty much abandoned since 2019 so I firstly cleaned things up, worked through open issues and pull requests and updated the build system. Then I wrote tests. There have been no tests at all until yesterday. I hope the package finds use in my current project so that I can develop it further.
